Description: 12" plush doll new condition with tags. Designed and manufactured by MerryMakers, Inc. in 1998 for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation; purchased through the mail-order catalog. "Sarah" is an 18th century period doll and her story is told on the tag. She is dressed in a patriotic costume of red, white and blue. Her cotton dress is navy blue with a tiny white pattern and has an attached white pinafore style apron. A lace-trimmed sleeping cap is worn under the red wool hooded cape. Underneath the dress we have a white cotton nightgown over knee-length stockings and soft brown buckle shoes! All of her clothing is removable. Reddish-brown hair is 100% wool, long and straight.
