This quote is from the ending 32-page section of the book which is an English translation of the text and photo captions. It is a translation of the publisher note which is shown on page 9 of the book. The book is fully titled, in Vietnamese, Từ Điện Biên Phủ đến Dinh Độc lập, which the English language section translates as, From Dien Bien Phu to Doc Lap Palace. I believe the authors are, Nguyen Huu Duc and Pham Ngoc Linh, and the publishers are the People's Army Publishing House. The book is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The dust jacket is very thick paper, with some edge wear, a few small tears, now handsomely portrayed in a mylar jacket. The jacket does have a small moisture stain bottom edge near spin, with a small scrape-off of the cardboard back board at the bottom likely the result of this episode. THERE IS NO IMPACT TO THE INSIDE OF THE BOOK FROM THIS STAIN. There is no interior marks. The book has 127 pages of the photos and the Vietnamese text. The English section then begins with new pagination and has 32 pages. This book obviously has a bias. I find it fascinating with regard to how it portrays the American scene, including the ICONIC KENT STATE PHOTO (shown in listing photo), and the equally iconic photo, not shown in a listing photo, of "Saigon Chief police commisar Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing with his own hands a communist suspect in Tet Mau Than 1968" (from the English translation).
