Description: This is an original Air Induction (not Cowl Induction) air cleaner which will fit a 1980 and 1981 Z28. This was designed to work with the Air Induction hood, with under-side ring that mates with the rubber seal on air cleaner, switch on the gas pedal, hood scoop, with solenoid and Quadrajet carburetor. This can be used with a Holley, but not exactly sure what modifications you may need to do. I can't be held responsible if you have a Holley and you can't get this to fit. I had a buddy who had a Holley and he got it to work. I believe all that needs to be done to work with a Holley carb is to file down one or both of the molded tabs on the bottom of the air cleaner. These tabs are what secure the Quadrajet to the air cleaner. There are two different options on these air cleaners. 1980 doesn't have the plastic 90-degree tube on the snorkel but has a hole on the base of the air cleaner which feeds a sensor. 1981 does have the plastic tube that feeds the smog pump and doesn't have the base sensor. This is the best I can differentiate between the two years. Please do your research if you're looking for an exact replacement for your 1980 or 1981 Camaro Z28, as this air cleaner will fit both years but may not be a correct factory option match. Air cleaner in good condition. It will need to be sand blasted and re-painted if you want factory quality. I have four air cleaners total for sale. This listing is for one (1) air cleaner.
