Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is a super cool (late 1970s maybe 1980s vintage) SUPER UNUSUAL Montgomery Wards "Open Road" BMX bike with 20" wheels. Old School BMX bikes are super cool! The serial number is A87868881?.... 1978?) I believe either made by Murray or Huffy in USA! The bike features; an original frame and forks with original paint and decals. I believe this bike to be nearly all original parts from when it was new! (see pics and be your own expert) I got this one just like you see it. These early BMX bikes are so cool and have a great look to them! Has old school blue cool handlebars, anodized blue neck/stem, REALLY COOL Akron "Stars and Moon" hand grips, (not perfect but really cool) matching blue BMX bike seat, anodized blue rat trap pedals, original chainguard, (these are always missing) and more. This one has chrome BMX wheels front and rear with a coaster style brake and a rear hand brake. The bike has old school BLUE gumwall tires! (I really like the tires! front has tread wear) I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide. Be your own judge of condition, originality, etc! This is a one owner bike in the same family since new! It has not been owned by collectors and has not seen the light of day in years! Be the first to get it in the light and enjoy it! I hope you LOVE IT! These are the kind of bikes I grew up with. I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. Comes as you see it with parts shown. *The distance from the center of the head tube to the center of the seat post tube is approx 18". *NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! (see pics Love the fact that this bike still wears its original paint! (has chips scratches, etc) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (Most every used bike out there seems to) I took lots of pics and have nothing to hide!
