Description: 1968 Dec, 25th Boston Bruins Versus The Oakland Seals Game Program From the Boston Garden. The Oakland Seals won 3-1 in Boston over the Bruins on Christmas Night 1968. This had to be the signature win for the Oakland/California Seals/Golden Seals Franchise up to this point. Only the 2nd year of the Franchise. Gary Smith stood on his head this evening for the Seals. Smith made 36 of 37 shots he faced. I think there was a snowstorm that night in Boston and there was still a good crowd for the game as the Bruins with Bobby Orr were extremely popular.
