DESCRIPTION: HAIR - Full length brunette bubblecut hair with original curls. Zero hair plugs missing; no hair cut. COMPLEXION - Barbie's complexion is excellent, it has not darkened over the years, nor is there any discoloration. She has the same head and faceold as the #5 Ponytail Barbie. MAKE UP - All original, full eyebrows, original lips with minor lip rubs. Barbie has one small neck split. Zero nose nips and zero cuts to the vinyl. EARS - Each ear has a single pierce. Heavy "green ear" to each ear. ARMS - Both arms hold poses as they should. Barbie's right wrist and hand have faint pink stains. HANDS - Free of knicks and indentions. TORSO - Stain free. LEGS - This doll has the rare "painted legs". I believe Mattel was experimenting with materials and decided against this version of the Barbie body with the "painted legs". Various scratches to her legs, you can see the semi transparent material underneath the coating. FEET - Original polish on toes with color loss. Stamped JAPAN. SWIMSUIT - Original from the 1960's, the swimsuit has been repaired at the front center seam. Small pulls along the hem lines. Stain free. This swimsuit was never sold with a Barbie label in the 1960's. The listing includes the Bubblecut Barbie doll and swim suit, the Barbie stand and props are not included.
