There are no damages noted, other than a few areas of slight discoloration which are only noticeable upon close inspection. —> The bottom is marked as shown by the maker, and is incised with the mold number, 2505. —> The Cameo line was one of the last introduced by Shawnee. Introduced in Catalog Number 26 in 1960, it was a high- fired semi-porcelain artware that was modeled after Fenton Glass. It was marketed as "Sorcery In Ceramics By Shawnee". This piece is the 10" Windowbox in the catalog. —> Shawnee Pottery was a leader in the pottery market, operating in Zanesville, Ohio from 1937 to 1961. Their innovative designs were copied by others, and their items were very popular and are still collected today.
