1959 - 1972 IHC 266 304 345 392 V8 AC type 178 fuel pump New Old Stock

Description: This is a new fuel pump #178 for 1959-1972 International Harvester, IHC, vehicles, equipment and Palmer Marine with 8 eight cylinder. It was manufactured by the Airtex Automotive Division of Fairfield, Illinois. This fuel pump also incorporates a fuel filter. As seen in the photos, the middle casting is cast with IN, OUT, and MADE IN U.S.A. The mounting flange is stamped with the part number, 178AX. This includes two fuel fittings and a gasket that were in the box. The box is beat up but the fuel pump looks very nice as seen in the photos. This fuel pump replaces M3405 fuel pumps The literature from the manufacturer lists the application as: 1959-1961 IHC Trucks V8 (B Models) W/ V-266, V-304, V-345, 1961-1962 IHC Trucks V8 (C Models) C100 thru C150 W/ V-266, V-304, V-345, 1962 IHC Trucks V8 (Models 1600, 1700, 1800) W/ V-266, V-304, V-345, 1959-1968 IHC Trucks V8 W/ V-266, V-304, V-345, w/Offset Filter, 1969-1972 IHC Trucks V8 W/ V-266, V-304, w/Offset Filter, 1971-1972 IHC 1100 Series Travelall and Pickup Trucks V8 W/ 304, 345, 392, w/Offset Filter, IHC Power Unit with V-266, V-304 engine, w/Offset Filter , IHC Power Unit with UV-345 engine, Palmer Marine with IH-V345 engine, It may also fit other International vehicles, equipment and related applications.
