Description: 1948 Packard Eight Convertible Master-Caster promo WINDSHIELD ONLY (Late 1948 through 1949 promotional year) This type of windshield was offered with the Master Caster Packard starting in late 1948 and into the 1949 promotional year. It is a bit sturdier than the flimsy early version, and has a painted frame rather than the earlier inked frame. Hand-made from an original template. Each windshield is made of the same plastic of the era (1940's or 50's) and ready to install on your late 1948 or 49 Packard Eight Master Caster promotional model. The one you receive will be similar to those you see in the photos. The last photos are to show you how it would look on the model. The model cars are NOT INCLUDED. You get an item similar to what you see in the photos minus the '48 Packard models. I also sell this item with a black frame that is a little cheaper. It’s also listed here on eBay. This one has a PAINTED silver windshield frame and takes considerably more effort to produce. NOTE: Each windshield is hand made and may require a bit of adjustment or trimming on your part to fit your model. I will consider offers for TWO, or more. NOTE: Your item will be placed into the US Postal Service (USPS) mail within 48 hours from the receipt of your payment (unless otherwise noted). I pack very well with tissue paper, bubble wrap and styrofome peanuts when needed. Rest assured that I have ample experience with proper and safe packing for shipment and will use the right size box and packing materials. FOR EXAMPLE: I will NEVER use bubble wrap as the first barrier against PLASTIC!!! I will usually wrap the model in TISSUE PAPER FIRST; followed by bubble wrap. (Don't you hate it when you receive a plastic cellulose acetate model that was made prior to the 60's with bubble wrap imprints on it? I do. Therefore, I will never do that to my customers.)
