Description: 1939 Underwood Universal Portable Typewriter. It comes complete with its original case. I post a lot of pictures and rely on them to show condition. Everything seems to work with the exception of the space bar. All keys, shift and backspace work and the carriage advances with each key strike so it is most likely a simple adjustment to get the space working. Although this machine is 98% functional it is being sold as-is, non-working for display or restoration.
