Description: Offered for sale is a beautiful antique COBALT BLUE glass VASE made in the MASSACHUSSETTS pattern by U.S. Glass of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The manufacturer number is 15054. It is part of the STATES line of glassware, and was introduced in 1898. The vase stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm) tall, and measures 3 1/4 inches (8.3cm) in diameter at the rim. The foot measures 2 3/4 inches (7.0cm) in diameter. A U.S. quarter is shown in the third picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. This is a high quality item of vintage German-made glass. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.
