Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 132 years old from Baskin & Forester's Illustrated Historical Atlas of the State of Indiana, published in Chicago, 1876. A copy of the title page is included with the map for authenticity. It is a steel plate engraved map with lithograph color. Shown are railroads, post offices, county seats, highways, townships, churches, schools, creeks and other details. Overall, a very nicely preserved and clean map that would frame up well! Size: The map image measures approximately 16 1/2 by 24 1/2 inches on a 17 1/4 by 28" page with generally a half inch or more all around for framing. Condition: It is in Very Good or better condition for its age with overall tonal ageing and a centerfold as issued. Other than a few light smudges in the margin it is very clean with a nice strong impression that would frame up well, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
