Description: This is a good condition complete original authentic correct vintage model 1863 Type 1 or Colt special model musket stock. Please note that it is correct in not having barrel band retaining springs as this type of musket used the split retaining rings. It is full length and has not been cut down. Has faint cartouch . Has some normal use wear. No cracks. If you look at photo 2 you will see a slight depression in the side of the buttstock but is is not cracked, just has a worn area. Has nose cap already installed. These used to be common but now finding a good uncut full length original is really tough. No repairs on this stock. I included a bunch of photo so you could see clearly this correct and authentic piece. Because of the length shipping will be oversized and will ship UPS.
