General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Text blocks split in parts. Marginalia, stampings, and small inscriptions at front, including ex-library ones. These works focus on Bishop Henry Ustick Onderdonk (1789-1858), who had been suspended several years back due to allegations of alcoholism. The suspension would be lifted 1856.
