Description: White ironstone cake stand with fluted edge and pedestal column. I don’t know much about this cake stand, except that it came from my family’s 1824 Pennsylvania farm estate. It was used by my family for special occasions and has seen many generations of Christmas puddings. It’s marked MADE IN ITALY on the bottom, but has no other markings. Approximately 12 ½ inches diameter at the top. 5 ½ inches diameter at the base and 5 inches tall. Condition is good with a small crack in and some small chips consistent with age and use (see photos.)
