Description: Vintage handmade Queen Anne Highboy in beautiful shape. This piece is from an estate of a Washington, DC, lawyer, and I believe they are from the 1950's. This piece is really stunning and well-made. B. Shackman was a purveyor of doll house furniture in New York City, at 2 West 35th Street, in the 1940's and later. Their furniture was made of cherrywood, and it is VERY high quality. This piece was made in Japan. In nice shape. If they were played with at all, it was gently. This doll house furniture is very well-made and is signed on the bottom of each piece. Please look for all of my auctions of more fine, vintage doll house furniture.
