Description: Presented is an antique set of 10 English porcelain soup or cereal bowls made by Chamberlain's Worcester early to mid 1800s. Each bowl has a large, decorative rim and each center has a colorful bouquet of flowers. This set is completely hand painted. Every center scene features a different bouquet of flowers, no two are alike. In addition, the three floral vignettes on the border are also all hand painted. There are 30 of these floral vignettes in the set of 10 plates and all are different. A wonderful quality set with superb artistry. We have only photographed four of the center floral medallions. The underside of each bowl is marked for Chamberlains, with the mark used during the mid 19th century. This set is in great condition for its age. One rim has a very tiny rough spot to its underside and one of the foot rims on the bottom has a small chip. There is some slight wear to the gilding as should be expected, but quite minor. Please view the photos. There are no major damages and no repairs. Diameter: 10 1/4 inches. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
