Description: 10 2014-D Native American Enhanced $1 Coin Set Packaging Up for your consideration are 10 of the Original Government Packaging (OGP) for the 2014-D Native American Enhanced $1 Coin Set. Everything from the original set, US Mint item number TA9, is included EXCEPT the coin. This includes the top of the coin capsule that most sellers do not include. I personally removed the coins from the capsules so I know that these are all in excellent condition. THERE IS NO COIN INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION The serial number on the $1 bill will vary, the photo is a stock picture of the item being offered. The information below is for the American $1 Coin and Currency Set. This auction is for the US Mint packaging only. NO COIN IS INCLUDED This a distinctive pairing of the 2014 Native American $1 Coin produced by the U.S. Mint and a $1 note produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, both presented in a tri–fold folder. The American $1 Coin and Currency Set contains information about Native American history as it intersects with the Lewis and Clark Expedition. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the package and a sleeve is included. Each Native American $1 Coin has a common obverse (heads) design retaining the central figure of the Sacagawea design first produced in 2000 with the inscriptions “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.” The 2014 reverse (tails) design commemorates how Native American hospitality ensured the success of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It depicts symbols of a Native American man offering a pipe, while his wife offers provisions of fish, corn, roots and gourds. In the background is a stylized image of the face of William Clark’s compass highlighting “NW,” the area in which the expedition occurred. It includes the required inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “$1.” Shipping: I ship all of my items for FREE and items worth more than $250 will be sent with Signature Confirmation.
