Description: GORGEOUS doll in her own right - yep, she's a 1990s reproduction of the #1 1959 ponytail Barbie, but she is truly beautiful. She's wearing the vintage 1959-61 Picnic Set #967 clamdigger jeans with vintage handmade shirt and boyfriend sweater with her Gay Parisienne reproduction navy blue heels with holes in them. Please take a look at all of the photos and note the following details:Her hair elastics had disintegrated, so I had to re-style her ponytail. Therefore, it's no longer factory-perfect, but still looks good. I put a vintage Japanese velvet hair ribbon on her. The doll is basically new old stock, fresh out of her box from 30ish years ago, so there's no flaws I can see on her. She is a straight leg doll, just as the original Barbie was. She will come with her original wrist tag, which is nicely removable for ease of dressing.She's wearing a vintage hand-knit sweater, plus the fantastic vintage clamdigger Picnic Set jeans and a handmade top. Sweater has some pilling.Shoes are the reproduction #1 Barbie open toe heels with holes in them, I believe for the Gay Parisienne reproduction outfit.Stand is made by my husband to accommodate the holes in her feet. I completely understand why Mattel didn't stick with this design for long, because the prong design isn't the most stable for her, but it's so cool, we just had to do it! So the stand is included, but not recommended for long-term display.
